<br>Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33314-7796<br>954-262-5115<br>Full-time and Adjunct Faculty Appointments<br>POSITION: All ranks will be considered for appointments beginning Spring 2008 to teach<br>graduate courses in the following public administration topics: organization theory;
<br>administrative law; ethics; human resources; information systems; research methods;<br>leadership; emergency or disaster management; finance; budgeting; policy formulation,<br>implementation, and evaluation; and strategic planning. The positions are flexible to
<br>accommodate other public administration teaching and research interests. Instructional<br>locations include the 300-acre main campus in Davie Florida, remote sites in Florida, and<br>online. Travel expenses for adjunct teaching assignments are reimbursed by the university in
<br>addition to the teaching stipend. Classes are typically scheduled on Friday evening and<br>Saturday on an alternating five-weekend schedule.<br>QUALIFICATIONS: (1) a Ph.D./D.P.A. from a regionally accredited university or ADB with
<br>expected completion within one year; (2) demonstrated relevant scholarly research; (3)<br>demonstrated relevant teaching experience with a commitment to a high concern for student<br>achievement; and (4) demonstrated record of accomplishment in a professional career. The
