Political Science and the Ethnic Studies
Program of the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceType w:st="on"><b
 style="">University</b></st1:PlaceType><b style=""> of <st1:PlaceName
 w:st="on">Utah</st1:PlaceName></b></st1:place>
invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in political
science
and ethnic studies. The rank for this position is open at either the
assistant
or associate professor level. <span style="">&nbsp;</span>The starting
date for this position is August 2008.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>A
PhD and a strong commitment to research and teaching are required.<span
 style="">&nbsp; </span>The position is a joint appointment, with
teaching responsibilities equally divided between Political Science and
Ethnic Studies.<span style="">&nbsp; </span>Applicants should have
demonstrated expertise
in American politics and ethnic studies, with a preference for a
scholar
specializing in Asian-American politics. The successful candidate will
teach both
graduate and undergraduate courses in his/her areas of expertise. The <st1:place
 w:st="on"><st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName
