On Behalf of Professor Eva Sorenson -

Ph.d.-course: Democracy in Transition
* From the 3rd to the 7th 2007 of december, Centre for Democratic
Network Governance at Roskilde University will be conducting a
ph.d-course entitled 'Democracy in Transition'.

The course takes departure in the changes that are currently taking
place in the political system due to a number of factors such as the
challenges of political globalisation to the supremacy of national
borders and new public management reforms that have lead to an
increased pluricentrism and fragmentation of the public sector. The
course is focusing on how these current transformations of the
political systems influence the democratic quality of societal
governance.

Participation in the course is free: Accomodation, food, course,
dinner, lectures, tutoring, compendium and travelling expences
(assuming the cheapest available tickets are chosen) are covered.
