This international conference brings together key scholars from Europe and
the United States to debate implications, opportunities and consequences of
public participation in environmental regulation.

First call for papers
Papers and posters are invited on issues related to the topic and in
particular five key themes:
* Regulation, law and implementation
* Civil society engagement: NGO, Communities and citizenship
* Efficient regulation and public participation
* Making a difference: The impact of public participation
* The role of institutions: Implementing, regulation and public
participation
Please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words before 1 September 2006.
