Folks, I recently received a request from a scholar in Hungary about people
and activities at Tech in the area of electronic government. Since I am not
working directly in this area and am not sure who of you all might be, I am
putting this out on the listserv. Please respond directly to Professor
Csetenyi (See the email below), but it might be interesting for us all to
know of any projects/conferences that you might be working on. Thank you.
Maria

----------------------------------

I would like to contact you in order to discuss current theoretical and
practical problems of electronic government. I am a professor of computer
science at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public
Administration, Hungary and engaged in studying usage of state-of-the-art
information and communications technology in public administration. I was
advised by the National Academy of Public Administration to contact you,
because your university is actively working on this field.

As far as I heard you have recently established a research center on digital
government. I would greatly appreciate receiving any information on your
current
activities. Are you planning any workshops, conferences, and/or launching
research projects in near future? I would gladly cooperate with you on this
field.

Best regards

Arthur Csetenyi
