It is that time again. I received the itr announcement yesterday.

I am currently working on an international collaboration proposal with
groups in Australia and Canada for itr which deals with broadband
digital media archiving, distribution and community building, plus it
has policy and some educational aspects. The Australian and Canadian
groups are already formed and if people would like to collaborate with
us on this grant, which is based on the grants already underway in those
two countries, please send me an e-mail off list with some times when
you might like to meet and discuss it so that i can set up one meeting
for everyone. The grant will be under the auspices of the the CDDC as
the collaboration is predicated on some software and technologies that
we conceptualized and developed, but I think there are many possible
research collaborations that can be accounted for, so drop me a note if
you think you'd like to work on this or at least find out more about it.

else i encourage people to pursue their own group's ITR proposals.
