'Foreign media investors are not rushing into India'

Stating that the entry of Western media will have a positive impact on the
Indian media, Chandan Mitra, MP and veteran journalist, has said that
foreign investors were not rushing into the country and will not rush into
it. "I don't expect invasion of foreign investors in the Indian media as
there was not much profit on the card," Mitra, Editor and Managing Director
of Pioneer, a leading New Delhi daily said. Asked to express his views on
the entry of Western media in India, Mitra told members of the Indian
Journalists Association here last night: "It will have positive impact. It
will facilitate up-gradation of the technology."
