There is turmoil is TV programming with Balaji Telefilms latest family 
drama Kahani Terrii Merrii flopping and Sony deciding to take it off 
the air. The channel has in fact cut down the number of summer launches 
of family soaps, earlier considered a sure road to success. STAR World 
meanwhile has launched a India-specific feed, Zee has launched a new 
fashion & lifestyle channel to give Fashion TV a run for its money and 
SAB TV is pushing to transform itself into a comedy channel. All to get 
the summer rush.
