[icernet] Policy on foreign news agencies may be reviewed

  The Government is contemplating review of the 1956 Cabinet resolution 
that made it mandatory for foreign news agencies to distribute news in 
the country through Indian agencies. "We are governed by the policy of 
1956 regarding news agencies. Much water has flown since then. 
Certainly, it is a case of review," Information and Broadcasting 
Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters.
