The records industry in India is experiencing the blues once again.
While piracy is the all-time culprit plaguing this industry, this time
round, there's another villain on the scene. Private FM. The launch of
almost a dozen private FM stations has hit the records business, claim
music industry players. This is even substantiated by a survey. A drop
of 30 to 35 per cent of the total sales in the past nine to 10 months.
