Union Defence Minister George Fernandes on Monday launched a scathing 
attack on the Parliamentarians, media and others for demoralising the 
"brave" soldiers by speaking against them.

After inaugurating the new premises of Manipal Institute of 
Communication here, Fernandes during an interaction with the students of 
the Institute, said "such statements not only demoralised our soldiers 
but also damaged the morality of the entire nation.

"Those who do not no how to spell morale are talking about it", he added.

He said, "apart from fixing cameras in bathrooms and bedrooms of our 
officers and others to track their movements, our media also helped the 
enemies by disclosing the locations of our troupes in the warfront".
