[icernet] Media Fellowships - Discovering the Desert

The fellowships are to investigate the dynamics and dilemma of hot and 
cold deserts where ecosystems and people are under stress. We expect 
the study to cross the confines of conventional hot and cold desert 
regions of the Thar and Lahaul-Spiti to explore new areas falling prey 
to desertification in all parts of the country. The idea is to keep 
alive the CSE tradition of a cross-cultural initiative where 
journalists of one region use this opportunity to travel to other 
regions and explore unknown conditions and economic and environmental 
conflicts.
