India's first reality TV show - edited entirely on Apple technology and
produced and funded by the BBC - is succeeding in combatting the
growing problem of HIV and AIDS among the country's young people.
The hugely-popular show is set on two buses, a pink one for girls and a
blue one for boys, which travel around northern India. Each bus has
beds and a bathroom and is home to four young 'humsfars', or
travellers, for a week at a time. Viewers get to see life on the buses
as they drive from city to town to village, and can watch the
youngsters face entertaining challenges that help them learn about
relationships, careers and some of the social challenges facing India
today.
