In spite of a tepid response to Karisma Kapoor's Shakti: The Power, 
female-oriented films are far from over in Bollywood.

Audiences can look forward to movies from eclectic genres where women 
aren't only given the central roles but are also allowed to have their 
say in ways that are at once exciting and thought-provoking in the 
coming weeks.
