[icernet] Internet night charges likely to be slashed

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has received Telecom regulator's
approval for slashing night time dial-up access charges for internet
connectivity, announced by Communications and IT Minister Pramod Mahajan
in October.

According to BSNL sources, the Corporation has received TRAI's approval
and is now in the process of finalising a date for bringing the new
rates into effect.
