[icernet] Reddy calls for more powers to PCI

Justice K Jayachandra Reddy, Chairman of Press Council of India (PCI),
today said more powers should be given to the council, whose objective
is to preserve freedom of the press and maintain standards of
newspapers. Reddy expresseed concern at the "threat from big business
houses to the freedom of press".
