"The entertainment industry in India is neither dependent on literacy 
levels of the viewers nor is it dependent on technology for its 
progress" said Reliance Entertainment's chairman Amit Khanna. According 
to him, the entertainment industry in India has registered a growth of 
30 per cent this year. "There has been significant progress, with 
Indian films like 'Monsoon Wedding' going global. In addition to this, 
we have seen that the concept of film insurance and corporate finance 
becoming a reality."
